Meet the architects of the noise.

Ckaabal is a duo formed in New Mexico in late 2023, blending the bones of darkwave and post-punk with the skin and blood of everything else that finds its way in: rock, house, funk grooves, spaghetti western, and pop melodies twisted into something darker.

Their songs live somewhere between dance music and dystopian fantasy, using a fictionalized version of modern life to reflect the world we already live in. Beneath the distortion, there’s love, longing, paranoia, escape, and ultimately a message of hope.

At the center are catchy melodies that almost feel like pop songs, sitting atop music that probably shouldn’t work with them. That tension is a big part of what makes Ckaabal distinctive.

It’s dance music for the end of an era and the soundtrack to the transition into the new Aeon.

Ayn is a computer scientist turned lead singer.

Alberto is a documentary filmmaker turned songwriter and composer.

The people aren’t as important as the product. They are merely the messengers for something bigger.
